Only fits 1st (origional) metal mug.

fits well inside the Crusader metal Mk1 mug. The lid is clear so you can see the con tense, air hole for even flow and cut out for you to drink is a good size . Tape the lip for insulation (on outside of mug surface) to keep heat off your lips.

Works well on the MK2 crusader system as well as the MK1

I recently bought a BCB crusader MK2 cooking kit but it doesn't come with a lid. I saw a video on youtube of somebody using the MK1 lid with the MK2 system so thought I'd give it a go. I can confirm that it does fit very well with only a slight gap on one side but it is very slight. Cooking times will now be much quicker with this handy little lid

Excellent bit of kit for your BCB mug, saves fuel and tasting bugs etc! Wish they made some for my other cheaper aluminium mugs!
