The ultra shape stainless steel blade is retained, with a metal sheath, with a simple squeeze to release handle/clasp. The metal sheath and retention are all integrated into a suitable colour nylon patch, so each user can sow onto their suit or combat gear in the most desirable position. This tool’s primary function is to cut cord (i.e. parachute cord), but is and can be used in almost any CT scenario as a rescue or safety knife.
