Issue 11: We’re all going on a British Holiday

19 June 2020
Back To Basic Campaign

A Message from our Managing Director

As we come to the end of week 13 of lockdown we have to hope that the number 13 will be lucky for the many businesses waiting to open.

For England, Northern Ireland and Scotland shops are already open or preparing to open. Our Leisure and Adventure team has prepared a BACK to BASICS campaign as we all look towards spending summer close to home.

Our commitment to you of providing good products, good value and good service, now has the addition of keeping you safe in your work place.

I want to remind you of the ways we can help protect your staff, your clients and yourself

Back To Basics

We’re stripping it back to the basics, and finding the joy in a British Holiday. With the current pandemic, we won’t be leaving the country for a while. But this shouldn’t stop us having fun. Strip it back to basics, go camping, hiking, fishing. Wherever your British holiday, take us with you. Our products keep you prepared on any Adventure.

Royal Ascot at BCB

To keep spirits high in the office we are doing bimonthly dress up Fridays. This week we would have all been watching the Queen, the gorgeous dresses, and people running from the rain at Royal Ascot. Seen as times have changed, we are trying to recreate the fun at work. Our team have all put in a great effort dressing up as jockeys, guests, and horses. We also held a race on the office chairs! Take a look at the images from the last few months dress up Fridays below.

Mandatory Masks

Even though we’ve all enjoyed the images of the public wearing masks in the most bizarre ways on the tube, the rules are there for a reason. We want to put your safety as our priority. We currently sell Type IIR masks at BCB, which have a 95% filtration rate. Protect yourself and those around you by wearing a face masks on all public transport.

Food Bank Donations

Every week we donate 110 bottles of hand sanitiser. This week we stopped off at Cardiff Food Bank. These bottles can help keep the employees, who always put others first safe. We are thrilled to be able to do our bit and help those in any way we can.

Bigger and Better

We have just brought out a new size of our Dr Brown’s Hand Sanitiser. A 5-litre bottle is currently being manufactured in our Llanelli branch. If you are interested in purchasing any please email us.
