Honestly best survival guide I have read, this book includes the basics / essentials along with a large variety other tips. This book, despite it's relatively small size, goes in depth into all topics stated conveniently at the start of the book rather than just steps it offers detailed pictures and great descriptions on what to do and how to do it. My personal favourite addition to this book is the plants section if fishing or other food sources aren't or temporarily unavailable this section goes deeply into what plants are okay to eat (e.g nutrient rich plants) and poisonous plants to avoid as well as stating how to primarily check if a plant is edible or not. It shows shelters for all climates and locations as well as tips for creating fire ect, so to put it shortly this book is simply great and I advise anyone experienced or newbie campers or survivalists to buy this book it contains everything

This really is the ultimate guide. The credentials of the author are second to none. If you want to learn about survival, you won't go wrong starting with this book. It is always good practice to learn from more than one source to ensure that all bases are covered and confirmed. I recommend the full size version to read at home and the pocket size version to have with you in your survival gear for reference. You may find that your memory fails when you're under extreme stress, injured or simply tired and you need a reminder.

Lo sto ancora leggendo, quindi non posso parlare per il libro nella sua interezza ma posso dire che per ora è ottimo. L'inglese usato è assolutamente comprensibile (usando poi l'app kindle ci sono molti suggerimenti sulle parole, possibilità di tradurle, di avere esempi di frasi per comprendere meglio il senso della parola, etc...) Le info che da sono quelle che cercavo, spiega tutto in modo schematico e dettagliando il necessario senza perdersi in parole inutili. Parla sia dell'aspetto logistico che mentale indicando tutte le cose da fare nelle varie situazioni. Consiglio l'acquisto.
